ELEMENTALS is a group of women artists with very different backgrounds who have found that the county of Wiltshire has created a unifying influence both geographically and aesthetically.

The name ‘Elementals’ came about initially through a common love of the Wiltshire landscape with its ancient history; its rolling chalk downs; its standing stones; its circles and earthworks; its waterways and woods and a desire to translate some of these elements into their work. Art though is constantly evolving and members of Elementals have also been changing and developing their work.

Elementals was formed in 2006 and whilst all its artists have been working and exhibiting widely for a number of years, the idea of coming together to support each other’s artistic development and to give each artist a platform in group shows, was at the heart of joining forces.
